Usually overlooked from tours and guides, the Serbian Soldiers Memorial is a common attraction around the eastern side of Corfu. It is not necessarily worth a detour or a specifically organized tour, unless you are Serbian, Greek or obsessed with history. However, it is worth a visit if you walk in the area. The monument is quite well maintained, yet there are not too many notes about it. It is dedicated to the Serbs who arrived in Corfu in 1916, during World War I. If you visit the Venetian Arsenal, the Serbian Soldiers Memorial is close to it, so you can take a walk.
