Located in the old town of Corfu, the Serbian Museum hosts some rare exhibits related to World War I. The Serbian Army had around 150,000 soldiers back then. The remnants of this army and their government in exile found shelter in Corfu after the Austro-Hungarian attack in 1915. Exhibits are quite diversified and vary from ammunition, flags and artefacts to uniforms, tools and decorations. Although it looks like a place specifically maintained for Serbs, the Serbian Museum will impress any enthusiast with its unique collections and stories related to local history. Make sure you don’t miss it if you visit the old town.
