Also known as the Museum of the Corfu Philharmonic Society, the Nikolaos Chalikiopoulos Mantzaros Music Museum is currently located on the first floor of the society building. It opened to the public in the fall of 2010. Its main role is to introduce visitors to the history of this institution. After all, it is around for about two centuries. At the same time, the museum is dedicated to Nikolaos Chalikiopoulos Mantzaros, the first artistic director of the society. He is better known for composing the Greek national anthem though. If you are a fan of fine music and history, this museum is for you.
