Located in the southern side of Corfu, the Monastery of the Blessed Virgin Mary is likely to impress you from multiple points of view. You’ll find plenty of ruins on site, which will underline what the monastery has been through. Furthermore, you’ll enjoy the beautiful views of the sea on your way there, not to mention a nearby secret beach. The way there can be challenging, especially if you walk. Get some water and some food for the stray cats you’ll meet on your way. Once on top, you can enjoy a bit of silence and calmness.
