The Mavroudis Family Museum is certainly worth a visit if you would like to know more about the local lifestyle. The family started an olive oil extraction plant business in 1993. Its primary role was to serve a wide area of Corfu. With time, given the interest towards such traditional procedures, the family has also established a little museum on site. Visitors will be taken on a tour and shown both traditional and modern methods to extract olive oil. A modern press is available on site, not to mention olive oil tasting. All in all, this experience is about learning, exploring and tasting.
