The Folklore Museum of Acharavi was established in the fall of 2008. It is close to the Roman baths in the same area. It represents the result of many years of hard work from Spyros Vlachos. He spent valuable time finding and selecting folk related items in the northern side of Corfu. Visiting the museum should not take too long, but it is definitely worth your time if you get there. It only consists of two rooms and brings in books, manuscripts and photos (some of them dating back to 1862), as well as coins from the times of the Ionian State, furniture, utensils, tools and so on.
