a community in Corfu Hops

Corfu Hops was initially established as an Instagram hub for locals, tourists who plan to visit Corfu and returning travellers with a passion for the island. We uploaded the first picture on the 9th of February, 2018.

Later the same year, we established a page on Facebook as well and started gaining followers on both platforms. By the beginning of 2020, we had more than 10,000 followers on Instagram and 2,000 fans on Facebook.

2020 was a bad year for tourism, which gave us plenty of time to plan a further expansion. We started working on our website and we planned further on – such as an application for tourists and locals to keep up to date with everything.

Our mission is to promote the island of Corfu all around the world, but also to provide valuable resources for locals and tourists. No matter how far or fast we grow, the guides available on Corfu Hops will always be free. The hub will always be a free service providing valuable advice, tips and ideas.

Our expansion programs are extremely diversified, meaning there is plenty of room for further surprises. Most importantly, we want to provide value. Corfu Hops is run by a group of volunteers, but not without the valuable contribution of locals and tourists.

In fact, Corfu Hops would not be what it is today without the contribution of others. Most pictures uploaded on our social media platforms are provided by local photographers, tourists and locals who want to add their grant to this hub.

Our vision involves quality. We provide quality over quantity and we keep our followers updated to the latest news. We have been featured on Wizz Air and Easy Jet, as well as various travel related hubs in the industry.
