The Capodistrias Museum counts around 400 items related to Ioannis Capodistrias – many of them belonging to the Governor or his family. You can admire personal use items, as well as honorary gifts, books, works of art, medals and even documents from the respective time. Several pieces of furniture are also included, not to mention household items. A massive part of this collection was donated by a descendant. Apart from the estate, he also donated lots of family heirlooms. The Capodistrias Museum represents an interesting choice for those who love history, as well as those who want to find out more about Corfu’s political past.
