Sometimes advertised to be a monastery, the Agia Paraskevi Church is well worth a visit if you like views or religion. It is hard to find on the map and it is not always advertised to tourists. You will need to get on the main street in Benitses and turn off sharply uphill at the sign to Stauros. The walk is steep and demands proper footwear and water. Up there, you will find some amazing views and a spring. The water is said to have healing powers. You will walk through fields of olive trees, yet the whole trip may take over an hour.
