Sometimes advertised to be a monastery, the Agia Paraskevi Church is well worth a visit if you like views or religion. It’s hard to find on the map, as it’s not always advertised to tourists. You’ll need to get on the main street in Benitses and turn off sharply uphill at the sign to Stauros. The walk is steep and demands proper footwear and water. Up there, you’ll find some amazing views and a spring. Water is said to have healing powers. You’ll walk through fields of olive trees, yet the whole trip may take over an hour.
