Spilia’s Gate is not often mentioned among Corfu’s main tourist attractions because there is not much to do there. However, if you are in the old town, it is definitely worth a walk. The gate is one of the most obvious reminders of the Venetian occupation, as it features a beautiful arched entrance. However, from another point of view, there is not much you can visit. Just take a walk, snap a few pictures and keep moving. The gate is, however, representative for Corfu’s old fashioned style, so it makes a good piece of architecture for those who love this style.
