According to multiple documents, the Church of Saint Anthony and Saint Andrew is the oldest church in the Venetian town. The church went through a few renovations throughout its history. It was entirely rebuilt in 1753 and gained a brand new appearance. The icon wall is based on Carrara marble and is known to be the most beautiful one in Greece. Around 2110 ducats were spent for it. As for the large icons inside the church, they carry the Byzantine style and depict scenes from the Apocalypse of John. Although this is not the most famous spiritual settlement in Corfu, it is certainly worth a trip.
