Built in 1807 under the French imperial commissioner Mathieu de Lesseps, Liston is an excellent place to spend some quality time. It features arcaded terraces that hide cafés and restaurants, but it will also impress with its architecture dating from the Napoleonic times. Back them, Corfu belonged to the First French Empire. In terms of design, Liston was inspired by Rue de Rivoli, Paris. There is not too much you can do around there, but have a coffee and some ice cream while preparing the next experience in Corfu. It is currently one of the most photographed landmarks in Corfu.
